FEC prides itself on providing opportunities for jobseekers to gain quality work experience throughout the Perth metropolitan, Dale, and South West region of Western Australia.
We are involved in a number of initiatives that enable people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds an opportunity to gain invaluable skills and experience that will increase their competitiveness in the open job market.
Presently, we are offering a diverse range of 'Work for the Dole' activities for the Federal Government's 'Jobs Services Australia' initiative. These activities provide jobseekers with the option to work in various industries to develop a sound work ethics, industry skills set, friends, and referees for their résumés. Many jobseekers have also been offered employment during their placement as they have proven to be a valued member of the team.
FEC is also working with numerous industry bodies and relevant stakeholders to establish innovative and enterprising ways of upskilling and achieving employment outcomes for disadvantaged citizens. You can see the projects FEC is currently working on by clicking the 'Social Initiatives' tab.
FEC offers vocational training courses that complement many of the work experience activities on offer. By pairing a work experience placement with a related accredited course, a competitive edge can really be achieved. We can also arrange to deliver any of our courses anywhere throughout the metropolitan area should you wish to make a group booking. Click to see what our training department has to offer.
