Renovations

FEC has been successful in winning a $1.5 million dollar grant to refurbish the Princess May Heritage Building in Fremantle.

The renovations are part of the Federal Government’s Teaching and Learning Capital Fund (TLCF) for Vocational Education and Training(VET). The program has a focus on improving teaching and learning facilities across the nations VET sector.

Stage 1 of the building renovations taking place at FEC’s Princess May Building are complete. This stage included the construction of new staff, student and disabled toilet facilities and a new staff kitchen and amenities room.

Stage 2 will be commencing soon and will involve the construction of new administration and front office facilities as well as two additional classrooms.
