Stage 2 Construction Mon May 10, 2010

FEC has successfully completed all aspects of our building program.

Completed works include:

• New student toilets
• New staff toilets
• Toilets for the disabled
• Staff amenities room
• New student administration facilities
• New classrooms
• New staff offices
• Repairs to the roof
• Painting and maintenance works
• Removal of mezzanine floors
• Installation of solar panels
• New technology/equipment

All works have been completed in accordance with the buildings Heritage Plan and the City of Fremantle.

The $1.5 million dollar grant was from the Federal Government’s Teaching and Learning Capital Fund (TLCF) for Vocational Education and Training (VET). The program has a focus on improving teaching and learning facilities across the nations VET sector. A recognition Ceremony is planned for the 9th September which will include an open day for past and future students.
